Damien Smith Design

Damien Smith's innovative designs are characterized by economy, efficiency and practicality. After working for a number of years in Western Australia's world leading fast ferry industry, he has now established his own office. The first design from this new venture the C Class catamaran Ronstan won a prestigious Engineers Australia design award. Damien Smith’s practical skills were honed not only as the principal Naval Architect for a number of large aluminium vessels up to 60 m in length and capable of speeds up to 40 knots, but also working on highly technical research and development projects. These skills are now breathing life into some very special boats.
