Working Sail

Traditional boat builders and designers of classic wooden pilot cutters. Luke Powell bases his designs on the lines of historic pilot cutters from the Isles of Scilly, a group of islands in cornish waters lying at the entrance to the English and Bristol channel. These sailing working boats of the nineteenth century adapt beautifully to yachts due to their excellent seaworthiness and good sailing performance.
