A registered letter was delivered to Larry Leonard informing him that there would be no renewal of his franchise agreement of the sailmaking organization he had helped build to prominence. The president no longer felt that Larry's approach to sailmaking matched his own. As with many events that seem a disaster at first, this one proved a blessing in disguise.
